Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your luxury hotel in Kathmandu. The day is free for rest and recovery after your journey. In the evening, you will attend a trek briefing, equipment check, and enjoy a welcome dinner.

The adventure begins with a spectacular 35-minute scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. After landing at the iconic Lukla airstrip, the trek starts with a gentle walk through Sherpa villages and farmlands along the Dudh Koshi River. You will cross suspension bridges and pass prayer wheels before reaching Phakding for an overnight stay.

Today’s trek follows the north side of the Dudh Koshi Valley, crossing several thrilling suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. Entering Sagarmatha National Park, the trail gradually climbs through pine forests before a steep ascent leads to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa capital of the Khumbu region.

This day is dedicated to acclimatization to ensure a safe and comfortable ascent. You may explore Namche Bazaar, visit local monasteries and museums, or hike to nearby viewpoints offering stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Overnight stay at a luxury lodge in Namche.

The trail from Namche to Tengboche offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan giants, including Everest, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. After descending through forests and crossing rivers, the path ascends to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery—the spiritual heart of the Khumbu region. Overnight stay near the monastery.

Today’s trek leads through alpine landscapes and traditional Sherpa settlements as you walk from Tengboche to Pangboche, one of the oldest villages in the region. The village offers spectacular close-up views of Ama Dablam and a glimpse into authentic Sherpa culture. Overnight stay at Pangboche.

Continuing higher into the Everest region, the trail passes through rugged terrain and memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. As altitude increases, the scenery becomes more dramatic, eventually reaching Lobuche, where you will rest and prepare for the final ascent to Everest Base Camp.

This is the most anticipated day of the trek. You will trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep, followed by an unforgettable hike to Everest Base Camp. Standing at the foot of the world’s highest mountain is a moment of celebration and achievement. After spending time at Base Camp, you will return to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

Early in the morning, you will climb Kala Patthar, the highest point of the trek, to witness a spectacular sunrise and 360-degree panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, and surrounding peaks. After descending to Gorakshep, you will board a luxury helicopter flight directly to Kathmandu, enjoying breathtaking aerial views of glaciers, valleys, and Himalayan landscapes.

On the final day, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of an extraordinary Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return.
